Main purpose of the organization is to promote men’s and women’s basketball at the corporate level, establish inter company and various ballclub leagues in Metro Manila. And the development of the men’s Below 6ft Basketball League, a developmental league which caters to most of the Filipino players.

MBT leagues usually collects minimum entry fees from joining teams enough to pay rental of gym venues, officials, referees, support manpower, video and other technical equipments, trophies, etc. Media expenses, special events, advertising and other league expenses are paid through donations and contributions by various Sponsors.
